Jason and his roommate, Linda, are in the living room.
Jason: Do you want to rent a DVD tonight?
Linda: Sorry, I'm occupied with planning my trip to Israel.
Jason: Why are you going there?
Linda: My family lives in Israel and I'm eager to celebrate Hanukkah1 and Christmas with them this year.
Jason: I didn't know you were Jewish2.
Linda: Actually, I'm only half Jewish. I guess that's why I celebrate both.
