(The next day, Billy comes home from work.)

Billy: Jen. I think I know what`s going on with Linda.
Jennifer: So who`s the lucky one, me or you?
Billy: She`s definitely interested in me. And I hope not you also.
Jennifer: How do you know?
Billy: Check these out. [opens a bag and shows Jen a pair of silky 1)boxers]
Jennifer: My goodness! That`s pretty forward--silky heart underwear. And it`s not even Valentine`s Day yet.
Billy: Yeah, well, I think it`s a little too 2)aggressive for a work relationship if you ask me! If I did that, I`d get 3)sued!
Jennifer: Yep, for 4)sexual 5)harassment at the workplace.

(隔天，比利下班回家。)

比利：阿珍，我想我知道琳達是怎麼回事了。
珍妮花：所以幸運的人是我還是你呢？
比利：她顯然是對我感興趣。但願她不會也喜歡妳。
珍妮花：你怎麼知道？
比利：妳看這個。（打開一個盒子，給珍看一件絲質男用平口褲）
珍妮花：我的天啊！還真是大膽──絲質貼身衣物。而且情人節還沒到吧。
比利：是啊，如果妳問我的話，我會覺得這有點逾越了同事關係的分寸。如果送禮的人是我，我會被告的！
珍妮花：是啊，被告職場性騷擾。

I think it`s… if you ask me!　我覺得……如果你問我的話！

雖然別人沒有問你的意見，不過放在心中實在是不吐不快，你就可以在抒發己見後加上一句if you ask me，說明自己不問自答的立場。

A: Check out my new shoes.
瞧瞧我的新鞋。

B: Wow! I think they`re a little too flashy if you ask me.
哇！如果你要我的意見的話，我覺得它們太亮眼了。
