It's 5:30 and Mike and Janice are meeting to discuss the interviews that were held earlier on today.

Mike: So, how did the interviews go today? Find anyone interesting?
Mike:

Janice: Today went much better than yesterday. I was beginning to think that all accountants were boring.

Mike: So, how many people do you have on your short list of applicants now?
Mike:

Janice: Well, I have three so far. That's three more than I had yesterday! How about you? How did it go?

Mike: Not bad at all. I have three more on my short list, and I think I'm going to have to make some tough decisions.

Janice: Yeah, it's always difficult making these kinds of decisions. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing God.

Mike: What do you mean by that?
Mike:

Janice: I mean that, if I decide to hire someone or not, my decision can really affect a person's life.

Mike: Okay. I know what you mean. I hate it when people tell me that they are unemployed. Then I wonder if they have a family or not.

Janice: Our job is tough sometimes.
Janice:

Mike: I guess that we should just do our job and hire the best person.
Mike:

Janice: Yeah, I guess you're right.
Janice:

Mike: Let's meet up tomorrow at the same time.
Mike:

Janice: Sure. Have a safe trip home.
Janice:

Mike: You, too. See ya tomorrow.
Mike:
