Gina:　Since we're here so early, let's shop. Maybe we should get a gift for your classmate in Miami.
Jeff:　It totally slipped my mind. We can't show up 1)empty-handed.
Gina:　And we should give him something 2)authentically Taiwanese.
Jeff:　What about this Oolong tea? Now that's something I doubt he'll get in Miami.
Gina:　Chinese tea has really 3)taken off in the US. It's all over the place.
Jeff:　Dried 4)shredded pork? No, wait… he's a vegetarian like you.
Gina:　I think this is perfect - the taro cakes. Here, try a 5)sample.
Jeff:　Wow. I'm going to get two boxes.
Gina:　Sure. Just make sure you're the one who's going to 6)lug it around. Here, get a bottle of this toner for his wife.
Jeff:　Sure. And a couple of bottles of plum wine!

吉娜：既然時間還早，來買點東西。或許我們應該給你在邁阿密的同學帶個禮物。
傑夫：我完全忘了這回事。我們不可以空手去別人家。
吉娜：而且我們應該送他有純正台灣味的東西。
傑夫：這罐烏龍茶怎麼樣？我覺得他在邁阿密應該買不到這種東西。
吉娜：中國茶已經在美國越來越流行了。到處都買得到。
傑夫：豬肉乾怎麼樣？不行，等等……他跟妳一樣吃素。
吉娜：我覺得這個最正點──芋頭酥餅。來，試吃一下。
傑夫：哇。我要買兩盒。
吉娜：好。反正只要提著它到處走的人是你就行。買這瓶化妝水給他太太吧。
傑夫：當然。然後再買兩瓶梅酒！
