[Mack meets Hank at the airport, holding a sign saying “Hank Parker.”]

Hank:　　Hi, I`m Hank—are you from Shoex?
Mack:　　Yes, I`m Mack. Welcome to Taiwan! Did you have a good flight?
Hank:　　Well,it was pretty long. I had to fly from Dallas to Los Angeles, then from Los Angeles to Tokyo, then from Tokyo to Taipei.
Mack:　　Weren`t there any direct flights from LA to Taipei?
Hank:　　I was trying to use up my frequent flyer miles, and that`s all that was available.
Mack:　　Were you able to sleep on the flight at all?
Hank:　　Yes, and I had a 1)bulkhead seat, so I had plenty of 2)legroom.
Mack:　　How about meals—did they feed you?
Hank:　　I think I slept through breakfast, but I had lunch on the way over from Tokyo. Do we have any meetings scheduled today?
Mack:　　You have the rest of the day free. Why don`t I just take you to your hotel so you can get 3)settled in and have a rest.
Hank:　　That sounds great!

漢克：嗨，我是漢克──你是Shoex的同事？
麥克：是的，我是麥克。歡迎到台灣來！這一趟飛行還順利嗎？
漢克：這個嘛，時間很久。我必須從達拉斯坐到洛杉磯，再從洛杉磯坐到東京，然後才從東京到台北。
麥克：洛杉磯到台北不是有直飛的班機？
漢克：我試著把我累積的飛行哩程數用完，只能安排這樣的班機。
麥克：你在飛機上有睡著嗎？
漢克：有，而且我坐在機艙前排座位，有足夠的空間可以伸腿。
麥克：食物怎麼樣──他們有讓你吃飽吧？
漢克：我想我早餐時間睡著了沒吃到，不過我在從東京過來的班機上吃了午餐。我們今天有安排會議嗎？
麥克：今天沒有安排行程。何不讓我載你去你下榻的飯店，讓你安頓、休息一下。
漢克：好，那就這樣囉！
